Landguard Systems designs, develops and manufactures state-of-the-art radio systems to customer requirements. We provide a pleasant working environment in our self-contained offices in Fareham, Hants. Due to continued expansion Landguard Systems has vacancies for the following roles:

Digital Hardware Engineer

This development role requires at least 2 years’ experience of digital circuit design including schematic capture and PCB layout. For microcontroller designs, high speed digital microprocessor and FPGA based systems; integrating digital interfaces, power supplies, memory and other peripherals. A working knowledge of the following technologies would be an advantage: Matlab, IP protocols, RF system design, communication theory, Embedded C/C++. A good degree in electronics, physics or a related subject is essential.

Software Development Engineer

You will be able to demonstrate experience of developing applications for Windows using C++ and C# .NET in Visual Studio. Your degree will be in Computer Science or a related subject. A working knowledge of the following technologies would be an advantage: IP networks, Linux development, graphical user interface design, computer graphics, GIS/mapping systems, git source control, hardware interfaces, embedded real-time systems, radio systems, digital signal processing.

Embedded Software Development Engineer

This degree qualified role requires demonstrable experience of the full software development life cycle using C or C++for embedded applications. You will need to show an understanding of device datasheets and know how to debug and test using real-time debuggers, logic analysers, oscilloscopes etc. Experience of working with the following would be an advantage: ARM processors, Texas Instruments MSP430, radio systems, Linux, RTOS, DSP and FPGA.
