AWS Developer

We're looking for an AWS Developer to help us grow our cloud app offering.

The AWS Developer would be responsible for making our app scalable and reliable.  A working knowledge of the following technologies would be an advantage: IP networks, Linux development, graphical user interface design, computer graphics, GIS/mapping systems, git source control, hardware interfaces, embedded real-time systems, radio systems, digital signal processing.

Communications Systems Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Communications Systems Engineer to work as part of our radio development team. This is a fantastic opportunity to design communication systems for high performance radio applications, giving you the opportunity to interact closely with specialist systems, software and RF front end engineers to develop new radio solutions. 

You’ll have a higher degree in Communications, Physics or Mathematics and a track record of designing radio communication systems to a high specification. You will be able to take system design through the prototype phase using tools such as Matlab and RF simulators, and will ideally have some experience of FPGA and Embedded Software development.

Demonstrable experience of DSP algorithm design, RF Engineering and Communication Theory are all an advantage.

We’re seeking an experienced engineer to work as part of our Software Defined Radio team. This is a fantastic opportunity to design communication systems for high performance radio applications, working closely with specialist systems, software and RF front end engineers.

You’ll have a higher degree in Engineering, Computing or related subject and a proven track record of successful high speed DSP algorithm development and implementation (C/C++).  You will be able to take designs through the prototype phase through to final, manufacturable designs, and will ideally have some experience of Linux in an embedded environment.

Demonstrable experience of FPGA design (VHDL), RF Engineering and Communication Theory are all an advantage.

Embedded Software Development Engineer

We're looking for an Embedded Software Development Engineer to join our team.

This degree qualified role requires demonstrable experience of the full software development life cycle using C or C++ for embedded applications.

You will need to show an understanding of device datasheets and know how to debug and test using real-time debuggers, logic analysers, oscilloscopes etc.

Experience of working with the following would be an advantage: ARM processors, Texas Instruments MSP430, radio systems, Linux, RTOS, DSP and FPGA.

Product Support Engineer

We’re seeking a Product Support Engineer to work as part of our Portsmouth-based Support Team. You should be comfortable engaging directly with customers, supporting their use of our systems and resolving any issues they may have. This support role may involve international travel. You will also have the opportunity to work with our world class product design teams, helping to develop high-performance technical surveillance radio systems.

You will have extensive experience in intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance radio systems in a government, defence or law enforcement application. With strong interpersonal and presentational skills, you understand the challenges our customers face and can support them in employing our systems to achieve their goals. You have a pragmatic approach to identify root causes of issues and are capable of engineering solutions.

You’re comfortable in providing support to groups of users through leading workshops or training events. Experience of customer support and operational use of our system would be an advantage, as would knowledge of project management and budgeting.

We're seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team.

You will be able to demonstrate experience of developing applications for Windows using C++ and C# .NET in Visual Studio.  Your degree will be in Computer Science or a related subject.
